이수홍 올림 _______________________________________________ Date: 2024-12-02 (월요일) 15:00 ~ 17:00 Place: 129-406 Speaker: 이신명 (고등과학원) Title: On finite-dimensional representations of quantum affine superalgebras of type A Abstract: Although there has been several progress on finite-dimensional representations of quantum affine superalgebras, most of key results in non-super theory are still missing. This talk aims to demonstrate difficulties and peculiarities arising in super theory. For this, we first review what is known (and not known) about finite-dimensional representations of quantum affine superalgebras of type A, mainly in terms of Drinfeld presentation and from purely representation-theoretic point of view. Then we discuss some super phenomena and hence which kind of statements can be expected for super, including the theory of q-characters.

이수홍 올림 ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Jae-Hoon Kwon <jaehoonkw(a)gmail.com> Date: Nov 12, 2024, 2:25 PM +0900 To: Soo Hong Lee <sshh2662(a)snu.ac.kr> Subject: Fwd: lecture series on the mixed quantum group > > Dear colleagues, > > I'm writing to advertise a lecture series on the mixed quantum group given by Quan Situ at POSTECH on November 19 and 21. The mixed quantum group is a version of the quantum group at a root of unity interpolating between Lustzig's version and the De Concini-Kac version; its structure and category (O) of representations have recently been of interest in representation theory (connections with Lustzig's quantum group, the small quantum group, KL theory and geometry) as well as in number theory (fundamental local equivalence, metaplectic local Langlands etc.). > > The lectures will be on zoom. See below for details. I would be grateful if you can forward this message to anyone who might be interested in the talks. > > If you have any questions about the lecture series please let me know. > > With best wishes, > Valentin > > ####################################### > > Lecture Series on the hybrid (mixed) quantum group > Title: Hybrid quantum group and its representation theory > Speaker: Quan Situ > Affiliation: Université Clermont Auvergne > Dates: November 19 and November 21 > Time: 6pm-8pm/8:30pm South Korea time > Website (has all the info, zoom links etc. ): buciumas.github.io/postech-representation-theory/index > Zoom link I (November 19): us06web.zoom.us/j/9450725725?pwd=MldrQkg3TURkOTEwQy92U1gzOHVUdz09&omn=89681414519 > Zoom link II (November 21): us06web.zoom.us/j/9450725725?pwd=MldrQkg3TURkOTEwQy92U1gzOHVUdz09&omn=81861224988 > Abstract: The hybrid (or mixed) quantum group is a quantum algebra with triangular decomposition whose positive part is given by the one of Lusztig’s quantum group, and whose negative part is given by the one of De Concini-Kac quantum group. Its category O can be viewed as a quantum analogue of the BGG category O for semi-simple Lie algebra. In the first talk, I will start by recalling basic results on structures and representations of Lusztig’s quantum group, De Concini-Kac quantum group and small quantum group. Then I will introduce the hybrid quantum group and its relation with the quantum algebras above. I will also introduce its category O and discuss some fundamental structures, e.g. block decomposition, linkage principle, BGG reciprocity and translation functors. In the second talk, I will focus on the principal block and the Steinberg block of this category O. The main result is equivalences from these blocks to coherent-sheaf-theoretic incarnations of the (singular) affine Hecke category. As an application, the principal block is a categorification of the periodic Hecke module, and in particular the (graded) multiplicity of simple module inside Verma module is given by the “generic Kazhdan-Lusztig polynomial”.

Shifted quantum affine algebras have been introduced by Finkelberg and Tsymbaliuk in their study of quantized K-theoretic Coulomb branches of certain quiver gauge theories. Their representation theory has been studied by Hernandez, who constructed a category O containing finite-dimensional and infinite-dimensional representations. We introduce a new class of infinite rank cluster algebras associated with A-D-E root systems, and show that suitable completions of these cluster algebras are isomorphic to the Grothendieck rings of the category O of the corresponding shifted quantum affine algebras. In this isomorphism, the cluster variables of the initial seed are mapped to certain Q-variables and the most interesting first step mutations are instances of the QQ-system relations studied recently by Frenkel and Hernandez (arXiv:2312.13256). We conjecture that the images of all cluster monomials are classes of simple objects of O. We prove the conjecture in type A_1. We also show that it holds for the subcategory C of O whose objects are the finite-dimensional representations. > > Zoomリンク: https://omu-ac-jp.zoom.us/j/95574428004?pwd=5Ipu0bO5VqouFxIPhZ9JjurPHalnZy.1 > ミーティングID: 955 7442 8004 > パスコード: 959143 > > 皆様のご参加をお待ちしております。 > > 少しフォーマットも整えてあります。よろしければご確認ください。 > > -- > Yoshiyuki Kimura > Faculty of Liberal Arts, Sciences and Global Education > Osaka Metropolitan University > 1-1 Gakuen-cho, Nakaku, > Sakai, Osaka 599-8531, > Japan > Research map: http://researchmap.jp/ysykmr/ > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Minami Osaka Daisu Seminar" group. > To unsubscribe from this group and stop receiving emails from it, send an email to modseminar+unsubscribe(a)googlegroups.com. > To view this discussion visit https://groups.google.com/d/msgid/modseminar/9ba7a32a-a6e3-481d-a291-c84d80….

이수홍 올림 _______________________________________________ Towards plethystic formulas for wreath Macdonald polynomials Date 2024-09-25 Speaker Joshua Wen Dept. Universität Wien Room 27-325 Time 14:30-16:00 Defined by Haiman, the wreath Macdonald polynomials are a generalization of the modified Macdonald polynomials where the symmetric groups are replaced by their wreath products with a fixed cyclic group. Through a wreath analogue of the Frobenius characteristic, they correspond to partially-symmetric functions. Their existence and Schur positivity were proved by Bezrukavnikov--Finkelberg using geometric methods, and many of their combinatorial aspects remain unexplored. In this talk, I will introduce them from a symmetric-function-theoretic perspective, building up to a conjectural wreath generalization of the plethystic formula of Garsia--Haiman--Tesler (GHT). If time permits, I will discuss the interplay with quantum toroidal algebras, both in the original GHT formula and in the wreath setting.

_______________________________________________ AI for Mathematics Workshop on Formalization Introduction Today, artificial intelligence is having a significant impact across various sectors, and mathematics research is no exception. In recent years, AI-driven research has been actively conducted not only in applied mathematics but also in pure mathematics, presenting a new direction for the field. This workshop aims to explore the relationship between AI and mathematics research, discussing current trends and future directions. In particular, we will focus on the topic of formalizing mathematics as the first step in this broader subject. Formalizing mathematics refers to the process of translating mathematical statements and proofs, which are typically written in natural language, into a formal language that can be understood by computers. This process plays a crucial role in deep learning for mathematical reasoning and automatic proof checking. In this workshop, we will discuss the importance of formalizing mathematics, its current trends, and offer hands-on experience by formalizing several mathematical statements and proofs. As this topic is being actively discussed globally, we hope this workshop will serve as a starting point for further discussions on this important field within the domestic academic community. How to join Zoom http://kimsh.kr/vz [http://kimsh.kr/vz] Meeting ID: 822 3235 0014 Passcode: 7998 (1) May 16, 2024. KIAS 1423 2 pm - 3 pm: Katada Mai (Kyushu University) The category of Jacobi diagrams in handlebodies Abstract：The Kontsevich invariant, which is a strong quantum invariant, for links or (bottom) tangles takes values in the spaces of Jacobi diagrams. Habiro and Massuyeau introduced the category of Jacobi diagrams in handlebodies and extended the Kontsevich invariant to a functor. In the second talk , we will use the composition of morphisms in this category to define a polynomial functor. 3 pm - 4 pm: Minkyu Kim (KIAS) Polynomial functors on free groups. Abstract: Polynomial functors naturally arise in various areas such as representation theory and algebraic topology. In this talk, we mainly describe algebraic aspects of polynomial (analytic) functors on the opposite category of free groups. In particular, we explain Powell’s adjunction between the category of polynomial (analytic) functors and the representation category of the Lie operad. If time is allowed, we mention some results under the assumption that such functors are symmetric monoidal. (2) May 17, 2024. KIAS 1423 2 pm - 3 pm: Katada Mai (Kyushu University) The polynomial functor associated with the spaces of Jacobi diagrams Abstract: By using the composition of morphisms in the category of Jacobi diagrams in handlebodies, we define a polynomial functor from the opposite category of the category of finitely generated free groups. We will observe some properties of this functor. 3 pm - 4 pm: Minkyu Kim (KIAS) Polynomial ideal and primitivity ideal. Abstract: The goal of this talk is to reveal a principle behind some well-known adjunctions: the adjunction which yields Morita equivalence between the ground ring and the matrix algebra; and Powell’s adjunction of the first talk. This is described by using a generalization of eigen-ring construction in classical algebra theory. In application, Powell’s adjunction is refined by introducing two ideals of the linearization of the opposite category of free groups: polynomial ideal and primitivity ideal. We would like to explain relation between these ideals and the Lie operad.

Title: Superization of Symmetric Functions Abstract: Given a symmetric function G(X), and an identity expressing G as a sum of Gessel Fundamental quasisymmetric functions, one can obtain a seemingly more general identity involving two sets of variables X, Y using the technique of "superization". We overview this technique, and give some significant examples including 1) The proof of the HHL combinatorial formula for Macdonald polynomials 2) Showing how a plethystic substitution into LLT polynomials transforms fillings into nonattacking fillings. In the single-cell case, this can be interpreted as restricting weighted sums over colorings of certain graphs to weighted sums over proper colorings.
