주제 : A journey through symmetries 초록 : This talk should serve as a (re)introduction to symmetries in physics. After a discussion on the structure of spacetime and on the phenomenology of symmetries in physics, we will study the structure of the Lorentz group and of the Poincare group. We will also see the notion of spinor, which will be useful in what follows. Then, we will discuss of the Coleman-Mandula theorem, and how to bypass it by considering fermionic generators. This will naturally lead to the supersymmetry algebra. Finally, we will see how supersymmetry simplifies in the context of conformal invariance, leading to a nice superconformal algebra and to the structure of supersymmetric vertex algebras. 참고문헌 : Lectures on Supersymmetry,
